Don’t worry though, because there are a couple of ways you can go about fixing the issue, and neither of them are difficult! Here’s what you need to do.
The first method is to make Windows 10 forget your Wi-Fi network so you can store everything again. To do this, first, click the wireless icon on the Taskbar. Then, click Network Settings. Once in the menu, click Manage known networks (or, click Manage Wi-Fi settings, then scroll to Manage known networks).
Click the network that’s giving you problems, then click Forget. Now, click the wireless icon in the Taskbar and connect to your network as would you any other time. Restart your PC and see if it remembers the password. If it doesn’t you’ll have to try the other method outlined below.
Open Device Manager by typing devmgmt into the Search bar. Under Network Adapters, right-click your adapter, then click Uninstall. Now, you’ll need to restart your PC, and reconnect to your network again (Windows should detect the wireless adapter automatically).13 Run Shortcut Tricks Every Windows User Should KnowThe Run prompt can be used to immediately access various parts of Windows.
